Josh Gowling, Hereford's interim manager, spoke to the local media after yesterday's 4-0 defeat at Spennymoor. Although he felt 4-0 was harsh, he did admit his players looked a bit leggy.
"Second half I think we had the lion's share of possession because we were the better team second half but the simple fact is that three of their goals were from unmarked men in the box and crosses," said Gowling.
"I've let the lads know about that, it's not acceptable."
Spennymoor's first goal after they were awarded a soft penalty.
"The penalty, to be honest, I don't know.
"You try and talk to referee and they don't want to talk to you so it's difficult to have a conversation.
"Even their third, Brad Ash has cut inside and the guy has kicked him over and he didn't give it and they've scored from it.
"Disappointing but I thought we looked a bit leggy today especially the center of mid-field. I thought we were off the pace. The tempo and the high press that we usually do wasn't quite there and after going 2-0 it's very difficult to come back from.
"Possession especially second half we matched them but first half we didn't really get going. Second half we came out, we took it to them, we played well.
"Finn came on early in the second half and flashed quite a few balls into the six yard box. You were looking for someone to be on the end."
Had Hereford scored at this stage they might have been back in the game.
"4-0 looks a drubbin but that was far from the case.
"First half I expected more from the lads but second half we pushed on. We were a lot higher and I think that worked better."
Gowling was asked if he wanted the play the game given others were called off.
"Yes definitely, of course we did. We were on a run and we wanted to keep it going. The atmosphere is great in the dressing-room, the lads are together and we think we can beat anyone.
"I spoke to their manager at the end, he said it was never a 4-0 which it was not. But it's frustrating because we've lost the game and we don't know when we're going to play.
"We might train in groups so we know what the lads are doing
"They said April but I don't think we anywhere near the start of the virus. It's got a while to go yet. I can't see us playing for a while."
