Hereford United Supporters' Trust is pleased to announce that a further £10,000 was handed over to Hereford FC today, 24th March 2020.
Joanie Roberts, Chair of HUST said “Despite the football being suspended at the present time, due to the Coronavirus outbreak, the reaction of Bulls fans over the past weekend was outstanding. Fans took part in the ONLINE 50/50 Covid-19 Matchday Draw, which kept our fundraising for the Club going. Many clubs will not be as lucky as us to have such level of support and all the donations now will help to give our Club the best possible chance of success once action does resume. Let's "Keep the Bulls Flying", while supporting each other throughout this difficult and challenging time, so we can come out the other side stronger as a Club and a Close-Knit Community. This is another significant milestone achieved in the Trust's quest and we're fully committed to attaining the Supporter ownership level of 50%"
This investment now takes the HUST Shareholding and Fan Ownership to £220,000 which is 43% of the HFC share capital. HUST, on behalf of all fans, is the largest single shareholder.
The target is to get to £289,000 by 31st May 2021 and so own 50% of the HFC share capital.
ONLY £69,000 IS NOW REQUIRED TO REACH THE TARGET!
There will be an ONLINE Covid-19 50/50 Draw taking place every Saturday until further notice - To enter : CLICK HERE
