A decision is expected to be taken by the National League this afternoon about the future of the current season. Most clubs have around eight to ten fixtures to complete this years competition but it is looking increasingly likely that no more football will be played before next season.
The economic effects of this are obvious as clubs continue to ask supporters to do what they can to ensure some income is raised.
Hereford FC football director Martin Watson says the club are awaiting any decision but appreciates that football is unlikely to start soon.
“The FA are in discussions with the Government over whether the aid offered to businesses at this time is fully applicable to football clubs and are seeking clarity on a number of points.
