Hereford FC are to make operational changes due to coronavirus and the government's advice for people to keep social interaction to a minimum.
Following the decision by the National League to suspend all of its games until April 3 at the earliest, Hereford say they will stop all sporting activity with immediate effect. This includes training at all levels, including Academy and group activities.
The club office will also run on skeleton staff, with employees continuing to work from home where possible. Anyone wishing to contact the club should email info@herefordfc.co.uk or contact them via their social media channels as they will not be able to be contacted via telephone.
The Club Shop will also be closed, although orders can be taken online via herefordfc.co.uk/shop
In its statement, Hereford FC say...
On the back of a disappointing season, until recently, we will, without a doubt feel the pinch financially and have held several meetings to discuss action to address this. We will be reviewing our position daily, as no doubt, at our level, there will be many financial casualties caused by this – we do not intend to be one of them!
We would urge supporters to engage in any future initiatives aimed at generating funds and helping to ensure that we remain in a competitive position to end this season and start the next. HUST are working with the Club to continue their purchasing of shares and any donations made will greatly assist – https://www.gofundme.com/f/keep-the-bulls-flying
We’d like to thank supporters for their understanding and support. Please look after yourselves, your friends, your family and fellow supporters and we look forward to seeing you back at Edgar Street soon.
We’d also like to remind supporters of the government advice which can be found here https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/
