Darlington manager Alun Armstrong has been watching the news about flooding in Herefordshire and is hopeful tomorrow's game at Edgar Street will go ahead.
River levels have dropped and road conditions have improved. The forecast, however, is suggesting there will be another spell of rain this evening.
Yesterday Hereford said that the pitch was in 'good condition'.
"I hope it’s on, because you don’t to be travelling down there on a
Tuesday night," said Armstrong.
"Lads would be getting back about 4am and then going into
work a few hours later.
"In my time playing I travelled on the day a few times, but you’d get the day off afterwards because you didn’t have a job to go to, but these lads have work and people forget that sometimes."
Update 2pm: Darlington are reported to be travelling to Hereford this afternoon for an overnight stay in advance of tomorrow's game.
