Beadle Would Give The Club A Lift Says Hall

BBC Hereford and Worcester's Keith Hall feels that having Peter Beadle back at Edgar Street is a viable option.

Russell Slade left his job as manager last night and the board will need to confirm who will be in charge for Saturday's game at some stage in the next day or two.

"I think he would give the club an instant lift," said Hall.

"He is probably one of the only appointments they could make to do that.

"The vast majority of the crowd would be behind it.

"I think he would take it on as an interim contract and then proper discussions in the summer but it would have to be on his terms I think this time."

Hall was asked about the timing of Slade's departure.

"A couple of games have been described as must win games.

"The game on Saturday against Curzon Ashton likewise.

"So the timing mid-week before a very important game seems a little bit odd."
