This Afternoon's National North Fixtures

There's a full compliment of fixtures in the National North League this afternoon.

AFC Telford v FC United
Ashton United v Bradford PA
Brackley v Stockport County
Chester v Leamington
Chorley v Kidderminster
Curzon Ashton v Blyth Spartans
Hereford v Darlington
Nuneaton v Alfreton Town
Southport v Boston United
Spennymoor Town v Guiseley
York City v Altrincham

After their midweek win at Boston, Stockport climbed above Chorley to top the table. However the Hatters will have to be at their best to win at Brackley (4th), who have only lost twice at home to date this season, if they are to stay top.

If the Hatters draw and Chorley, who play Kidderminster (8th) win, then they will swap positions given Chorley have a better goal difference.

However Spennymoor (3rd), who have a game in hand, are still in the running to win the title. Given Guiseley (19th) are their opponents, they should take all three points.

Stockport 33/66
Chorley 33/64
Spennymoor 32/60

At the bottom of the table Nuneaton will do well to take anything from their game against Alfreton (14th), whilst FC United (21st) face a difficult trip to Telford (6th) who have only lost twice at home this campaign.

Hereford supporters will be hopeful that Bradford PA (5th) will do them a favour and defeat Ashton United (20th) and so, whatever happens at Edgar Street where Darlington (16th) are the visitors, will keep the Bulls at least six points above the drop zone.
