Hereford FC manager Marc Richards has spoken to BBC Hereford and Worcester in advance of tomorrow's National North game at Edgar Street against Darlington.
"I don't think there was much between the sides when we went to their place earlier in the season," he said.
"Again you can't take where a team is in the League in terms of how they might perform and what we might be up against.
"We just know we have to be on it to ensure we can give ourselves the best possible chance to get three points."
Darlington are two places above the Bulls in 16th position.
One piece of good news from the club, striker Lance Smith is back in training.
Meanwhile Darlington manager Tommy Wright thinks his team is good enough to avoid the drop despite only one win in the last eight.
"I’ve told the boys that we shouldn’t be in the situation that we are," said Wright as reported by the Northern Echo.
"Whether or not it will take two, three or four wins to keep us up, our mentality shouldn’t be looking at games like Saturday and treating it as a six-pointer.
"We should be approaching it as any other game and wanting to win."
