Kyle Finn came on as a substitute in this afternoon's game against Darlington and played big part in Hereford's 4-2 win.
Afterwards he spoke to the local media.
"I felt that when I came on the game opened," said Finn.
"The game started flowing."
Finn and Danny Greenslade formed a useful partnership.
"Danny started coming up as well when I came on so it was helping me play one twos with Dan, playing to Toe (Owen-Evans), get balls back and whip them into Symo.
"It just opened up and I knew we were going to win the game.
"We were 2-0 down at half-time and we were saying we can do this, we want to be moving up the table.
"So we came out second half and we've given it a real good go."
Finn hasn't played many minutes recently.
"It just about mentally keeping your head, keep doing things right on and off the pitch. Then when you get your chance come on and try and take it. Hopefully I've done that today.
"I see myself as getting balls, whipping crosses into the box, linking the play as well. I see myself as playing on the wing or in the 10 position."
Finn put a cross into the box which led to a penalty.
"It was definitely a penalty.
"I whipped it in and I think he's (the defender) thought it was going to go straight to Symo so he stuck his arm out and the ref saw it and gave us a penalty."
Finn had lots of praise for head of football Tim Harris.
"I get on really well with Tim. I think he's a great guy. Great in what he does.
"The thought of coming here with Tim and helping the team, that's what I wanted to do And I want to stay.
"Playing in front of a good crowd, all loud, it's great to play in front of a big crowd like this."
