Results Put Pressure On Hereford Said FCUM Manager

Yesterday's results in the National North suggest that next Saturday's game at FC United is a must not lose game for Hereford FC.

Both Ashton and FC United gained ground on the Bulls with the former's unexpected 1-0 win at leaders Chorley and the latter's draw at Southport.

18 - Hereford 31/35
19 - Guiseley 31/33
20 - Ashton United 31/30
21 - FC United 32/26
22 - Nuneaton 31/16

Neil Reynolds, the FCUM manager, felt the results put pressure on Hereford and other clubs around them.

"Two games undefeated so we look forward to next week now," Reynolds told the FCUM OS.

"A point away at Southport is a huge result and now we've got to kick on, next week is Hereford.

"There's genuine belief that we're staying up.

"People look at the Ashton result, I think it's a great result because it puts pressure on Leamington, Hereford, Darlington, York even.

"We've got to focus. Ten games to go. We've steadied the ship.

"We'll get in training Tuesday, we'll get in training Thursday and we'll put a performance on next Saturday.

"Just keep believing, we're not going down.

"If we show that level of committment and spirit and quality then we are going to give teams a game.

"Lets give a real good account of ourselves (against Hereford) and hop we get that three points we want."
