Hereford Will Be Without James Waite This Afternoon |
There is a full programme of fixtures in the National North League this afternoon.
Probably the match of the day is at Stockport (2nd) where Telford (4th) are the visitors.
However of more interest to Hereford supporters will be games of teams near the bottom of the league.
Nuneaton (24th) look doomed and it will be very surprising if Spennymoor (3rd) don't add three points to their talley.
FC United (23rd) have only won one of their home league games this season. They play Guiseley (19th). A draw looks a possibility and that would probably suit Hereford (18th) who are two points above Guiseley.
As for Hereford they travel to Ashton United (20th). The Bulls have done quite well on the road recently, eight points from their last four away games, and are favoured by the bookies to win again this afternoon. However they will be without young loanee striker James Waite who scored and later was red carded at Leamington last Saturday. Whether Mike Symons will return to the starting eleven remains to be seen but looks quite likely.
