Scott Russell has quit Hereford's Academy due to increasing commitments with the first team |
Hereford FC Academy Coach Scott Russell has stepped down from his roles within the set up with immediate effect.
Russell says it's the right thing to do because of his 'ever increasing first team commitments' where he's now goalkeeping coach, BN understands.
The former Head of Academy goalkeeping at Lincoln City was the first Head Coach of Hereford FC's women's team, but has been around the first team since Pete Beadle was sacked.
Assistant coach Ben Archer will now take over Head Coach of the women’s team.
Thank you for my 12 months coaching with @Academy_HFC and having the honour of being the first ever Lead Coach of the Womens team, but with my ever increasing @HerefordFC 1st team commitments, the right thing to do is to step down from Academy duties with immediate effect. #Bulls— Scott Russell (@TheScottRussell) January 3, 2019
