Hereford didn't deserve to get anything out of today's game at Kidderminster, according to Hereford Head Coach.
Marc Richards says his side were second best as they suffered a 2-1 defeat at Aggborough.
Despite taking the lead thanks to James Roberts in the 19th minute, but conceded within 60 seconds. A fantastic strike from Declan Weeks in the 46th minute turned out to be the winner.
"It was one of those days where too many lads were fives and sixes out of ten, not enough of the sevens, eights or nines we've been having in previous weeks," Richards said after the defeat.
"The last seven games have been excellent, even Bradford when we've lost away the performance was good.
"Today we were second best and I'll put my hands up and say we weren't the best team and didn't deserve to get something out of the game.
Richards made no excuses and said Hereford 'simply weren't at the races'.
"The best team won today, we simply weren't at the races, where we've been at for the last six or seven games," Richards added.
"They were first to second balls, fitter than us, stronger than us, quicker than us. No excuses, we just weren't good enough.
"Even when they went down to ten men we didn't do enough to win the game. It was as great strike for their second, unbelievable hit from 25/30 yards.
"But we weren't at the races today and it's disappointing because the performances have been pretty positive before this."
Kidderminster are a full-time side unlike Hereford, who have had limited training sessions over the Christmas period due to the number of games.
"It did look like a full-time team playing against a part-time team today, whether that's the three games in quick succession over the Christmas period, I don't want to make any excuses because we did alright against Chester and okay against Kidderminster Boxing Day.
"It was frustrating today because I said to the boys at half time, you've got an opportunity now. You're 1-1 at half time, you're against ten men and let's not be in a situation come the end of the game where we're so frustrated we haven't taken an opportunity.
"Within three minutes they're 2-1 up and they've got something to hang on to. We didn't do enough with the ball today when we had the time and the options to shift the ball from side to side, and we didn't create enough chances.
"Really frustrated today, really disappointed."
