Yeltz manager John Hill has said that James Roberts moving to Hereford is a 'massive blow'.
"He wasn't on anyone's radar in the summer but if you start scoring a few at any level then suddenly people will start looking at you," said Hill as reported by the Halesowen News.
"We have been trying to get him to sign a contract for the last few months but he didn't want to be tied down.
"I can't say a bad word about him though and he's going to a big club that is higher up the ladder.
"It's a big miss for us but all we can do is work hard to replace him, which is what we are doing now. We also have a few options in the squad as well.
"Good strikers are like gold dust but you can't get too down about these things and you just need to keep moving forwards."
Also leaving Halesowen is coach Richard Sneekes.
