James Roberts is one of the two new players to have signed for Hereford |
Two of the trialists in last week's training game against Cinderford Town have been snapped up by Hereford, with one or two more expected by the end of the week.
Striker James Roberts and midfielder Tommy O’Sullivan have joined Hereford and will be available for selection this weekend for the game at Boston United.
Roberts is a striker who spent two years in the Oxford United youth set up before signing his first pro-contract for the Us in May 2014.
22-year-old James Anthony Roberts was the number 10. A striker, Roberts was on the books at Oxford United from 2014 until last spring. During his time there he scored three goals in thirty appearances. He has also been loaned out to Chester, Oxford City, Barnet, Stalybridge and Guiseley. He left Oxford at the end of last season.
Tommy O'Sullivan |
Also arriving at Edgar Street is midfielder Tommy O’Sullivan. The Welsh Youth International O'Sullivan started his professional career with Cardiff City six years ago.
He's been at loan at several clubs including Port Vale and Newport County before signing for Colchester United in January 2017, before joining Torquay United on loan the following year after only making a handful of appearances.
