Myrie-Williams Isn't Far Off Said Beadle

Jennison Myrie-Williams
Towards the end of Peter Beadle's press call, he was asked about the fitness of Jennison Myrie-Williams.

"He's still getting there, he came out and trained a bit before the game today," said the Hereford manager.

"He's not far off but again - we haven't rushed Keyon back, Keyon felt fit and came on last Saturday for half a game and did very well, played seventy minutes on Tuesday (in a practice match we had) and felt fine but he's felt it today. No one near him so we want to be careful - but as soon as Jennison is fit, he'll come into contention. But it's taking a bit longer than we would like."

Beadle said that both Harry Franklin and Adam Hockey are likely to be going out on loan.

"The plan is to get them both more experience. When the time is right we'll try and find something for them.

"Game time is key for everybody. That's why we had a game on Tuesday. It was really important for those on the bench to get some minutes and it's the same for those two in their developement. They are still very young, 17 and 18, so there is no rush."

Next Saturday it's York at Edgar Street.

"It doesn't matter who were are playing, next week is a chance to make amends for today.

"It's another home game which is great. Hopefully we'll give the supporters something more to cheer about than we did today.

"The players know today wasn't good enough but next week is another big test for us and we need to make sure we are ready for it.

"Hopefully they will have a bit more luck and things will go a bit more their way next week."
