Throwback Thursday | Charlton Athletic 3-1 Hereford United - 20th September 1989 - League Cup

After dispatching Torquay in the previous round. Hereford travelled to Selhurst Park (Groundshare with Crystal Palace) to play top flight Charlton Athletic.

 

Tony Elliott was injured, so 17 year old YTS Goalkeeper Marcus Priday made his debut. Richard Jones put Hereford ahead from the penalty spot, but then the home side took control.
