Stockport were presented with the PFA Fair Play Award yesterday at Chelsea. Manager Jim Gannon said 'I’m very pleased to collected this award because we haven’t had a red
card in the league for the last two seasons and, since I returned, not
one player has been sent off for violent conduct, serious foul play,
professional fouls, deliberate handball, dissent or foul and abusive
language. The award is important, because it demonstrates that you can
be successful and develop players whilst playing the game in the right
way.'
Telford are considering going full-time. New manager Gavin Cowan is to speak to chairman Andy Pryce about the matter.
Guiseley have appointed a new management team. Russ O’Neill and Marcus Bignot become Joint
Managers with Paul Clayton as Assistant Manager.
Liam Hughes has joined Darlington from Billericay.
John Still has quit as manager of Dagenham and Redbridge. He was last at Edgar Street when Hereford put the Daggers out of the FA Trophy in December. The club recently lost their main sponsor Glyn Hopkins.
