BNPL: Ewyas Harold Bonus Points

This update on the Bulls News Prediction League with regards to the postponed Ewyas Harold match last week:

As you know there are bonus point matches throughout the season, these being the last match of the month. For the 2017/18 season this would be 10 matches.

The Ewyas Harold match was to be the last game in Feb prior to its postponement on the morning of the match. This also being a cup match meant triple points on offer.

The rules state:
Double points will be awarded for cup matches and the final league games of each month.
Triple Points will be awarded if the last game of the month is a cup game.

The rules appear vague and can could be interpreted differently for the scenario encountered in Feb.

I placed a notice on FB commenting what, if anything, participants would like to be done about the missed February bonus points match.
A number of options were suggested:
1. Recalculate and Update BNPL for what was now the last match in Feb, Weymouth.
2. Do nothing, no bonus points for Feb, thus only 9 bonus point matches for 2017/18
3. Double points for the next match played.
4. Double points for the next two matches played, since EH match would have been triple points.
5. Keep the EH match as triple points since this match was postponed after all other scheduled Feb matches had been played.

Once again, just like the scenario we had when Mills was injured, we will all get the opportunity to review the BNPL rules and format during the summer.

I have however in the instance, as the Referee, decided to go with option 5: Keep the EH match as triple points since this match was postponed after all other scheduled Feb matches had been played.
Although the other options were valid, I have chosen this option since it was due to be the bonus points match for Feb and was postponed on the day.

It is also likely to give the most excitement in terms of the greater variation in predictions for the score line and goal scorer. It is also assumed to be a low attendance and thus give those staying away a little more interest in the game. After all it is supposed to be a fun competition.

I hope that the majority of you are happy / agree with my option.
Please feel free to reply with comments, since the rules will need updating for next season so your input is valuable.

Thanks
