Lance Smith scored the only goal of the game at Dorchester yesterday. Afterwards he spoke to BBC Hereford and Worcester.
"A very important victory," said Smith.
"We had players out and we did really well.
"It was probably one of the biggest wins of the season in my opinion."
John Mills supplied the cross for Smith to score.
"I thought he was going to chop it!
"Great cross and I was in the right place and got a good connection on it. Headed it to the floor and there was more chance of it going in then.
"It wasn't the best pitch but both teams had to play on it. You couldn't get the ball down and play how we like to. We just had to make the best of a bad situation really."
Smith had a few chances in the first half.
"I had a coulple of chances. The first one came early in the game but I didn't get a good connection on it. The second one came to me but it was an awkward height off the post.
"It was nice to get on the scoresheet and win."
Smith is aiming for 25 goals this season. To date he has scored 18.
