Cheltenham Town are joining a campaign to help raise enough money to help a little girl walk independently for the first time - as reported by Gloucestershire Live.
Three-year-old Lilac Jackson, from Bishop's Cleeve, needs to raise £80,000 so she can have a life-changing operation.
Lilac was born critically ill at 34 weeks and was on life support after contracting sepsis and her organs were shutting down.
She pulled through but months later she was diagnosed with spastic diplegic cerebral palsy - a condition which tightens her leg muscles.
£21,000 has already been raised, and Lilac will be a mascot at Cheltenham Town and Hereford in the coming months.
The Robins will also screen videos at their home games to raise awareness of the campaign.
