Dorchester manager Steve Thompson gave his reaction to Hereford's 1-0 win.
"Obviously disappointed to lose," Thompson told BBC Solent.
"It was a very tough game for both teams.
"Hereford are a good team, probably I feel they will go on and win it.
"But they've had a tough game today.
"We've ran them close and created two very good chances in the second half. If one of them had gone in we would be probably looking at a draw.
"Their back four played very well today.
"It's the first goal in five home games we've conceeded (456 minutes) and I expect they will be delighted with a 1-0 win.
"I'm sure their manager will agree it was a very tough game on a very heavy pitch today.
"But we have ran them all the way."
