With BT
Sport televising tomorrow's FA Cup second round replay clash
between Hereford FC and Fleetwood Town, it is interesting to note Bookies.com have been allowed to sponsor the game with advertising hoardings erected at the Meadow End of the stadium.
Bookies.com claim they are "proud to announce
that they are sponsoring at Edgar Street for this intriguing clash as the Bulls
look to topple their League One opponents and there’s always the chance of an
upset in these sort of games".
The company say "Bookies.com jumped at the chance
to have their brand feature on some of the perimeter boards around the pitch at
Edgar Street, with the leading betting website also a sponsor at Fleetwood
Town.
Bookies.com is part of Bell
Internet Limited and CEO Andy Bell said: “We’re proud of our various
sponsorship deals when it comes to football clubs at grassroots level.
“We wish both teams all the best
on Thursday night for what should be an exciting cup tie and it would be nice
to see a non-league team like Hereford squaring off against Premier League
opponents.”
Bookies.com have two boards at
Highbury Stadium and claim they "would be delighted with any result on Thursday night", with
Hereford trading as the 4/1 outsiders and the Cod Army available at 7/10.
