Hornchurch Thank Supporters At Hereford

Hornchurch have released the following statement.

 

The management would like to thank all those who supported the club on Saturday in the FA Cup tie vs Hereford. It really was much appreciated by everyone concerned and gave a great lift to the players and staff alike.

The constant singing and encouragement for the players was wonderful to see (and hear).

The result against Hereford wasn’t the one we wanted but we were aganst a side that has moved through the Midland Premier with ease, comfortably gained promotion from the Southern League South & West and looks extremely well placed to gain promotion from the Southern Premier into the National leagues. 

We had chances to score in the first half but Hereford upped their game in the second period and took their own chances.
