Two New Directors At Hereford FC

The names of two new directors have been confirmed by Hereford FC.

This from the club:

Hereford FC is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors to fill the vacancies created by the departures of Mike Cole and Phil Eynon.
The first new Director has been named as Paul Quarrell, who has previously been working in a non-executive role as Stadium Director.
Paul Quarrell
Paul, who is Managing Director at local building firm William Powell & Sons, will move to an executive role on the board with immediate effect and will continue to lead on all stadium and safety related matters.
He follows in the steps of his late Grandfather, John Jackson, who was a Director of Hereford United for 3 decades before stepping down in 1988. Paul is very much looking forward to the new challenges and responsibilities ahead.

Replacing Mike Cole as Financial Director and Company Secretary will be Peter Churchus, who lives in Ross-On-Wye and has been a Hereford fan since 1970.
Having trained as an Accountant in Hereford over 40 years ago, Peter currently holds the position of Group Financial Director for the Holidaybreak Education Division, which specialises in children’s holidays and tours. The Division includes PGL, which is based in Ross, a business he first became involved in in 1972.
In his Group role, Peter is responsible for teams of finance staff in different subsidiary companies and he has great experience of strategy and business planning. During his working life, he has also held Managing Director and Marketing Director positions, as well as running his own business until he was enticed back to PGL.
Peter – who is a Hereford FC shareholder – is very excited to have been appointed to the role of Financial Director at Edgar Street and is not only looking forward to doing all he can to contribute to the club’s future success, but also to ‘getting back to hands on accountancy work!’.
Everyone at the club would like to wish Paul and Peter all the very best in their new voluntary positions.
