Although not football related, the closure of a section of the A49 will affect those travelling to and from Edgar Street on match days.
From 11th September to 10th November the A49 will be closed to southbound traffic between the Newton and Pizza Hut roundabouts.
This is to allow works to take place as part of the new City Link Road.
The closure will apply day and night, with a number of other roads also closed during the night.
Traffic will be diverted along Roman Road, up Aylestone Hill and through town via Commercial Road.
