Despite being relegated with Hull City last season, ex-Bull Sam Clucas picked up the award for player of the season.
He also made the headlines last year after scoring in each of the top five divisions in five consecutive seasons.
And now the Daily Mail have linked him with a move to Newcastle United - for a fee in the region of £8m to £10m.
Leicester, West Bromwich and Burnley are also thought to be interested.
Back in 2013, Clucas moved from Edgar Street to Mansfield for £20,000.
