Anthony Robbins has been released from his managerial duties at Pegasus Juniors with immediate effect.
A club statement said that Robbins wished to focus on playing without the added pressure of managing the side.
He joined Peggy after being released by Hereford in August 2016, becoming their player-manager the following month.
Despite several injuries to key players, he managed to secure a top-half finish.
The club statement said: "We praise Robbo for his hard work and perseverance in a difficult season and the professionalism that he has brought to the club.
"He set high standards which we will seek to maintain for the new manager."
