Hereford have already signed Lance Smith and Garyn Preen from Evesham United, and it's been reported by Gloucester Live that a third player turned down a move to Edgar Street.
Skipper Linden Dovey, who scored against Hereford in January, said it was tough to turn down a move to a 'massive club'.
The Mirror likened the centre-back to Lionel Messi for his goal, as he broke forward and evaded challenges from five Hereford players.
Speaking about why he turned down the move, Dovey said: "I had a couple of offers during the season from higher clubs which I wasn't interested in because of what we were trying to achieve in promotion.
"I've had a few more offers at the end of this season, which I didn't expect, including Hereford so it's been a little bit of an eye opener that people are always watching and keeping tabs on how you did.
"I've been very happy here the last three or four seasons but Hereford are a massive club and when we went to Edgar Street the crowd and atmosphere was unbelievable so of course it made it a hard decision.
"I live in Dudley and work in Walsall so it's not exactly easy to get Evesham midweek and to midweek games away let alone further afield to Hereford."
