Bullsnews caught up with U16's coach Steve Saunders after the match: Firstly I'd like to thank Neil and the Ross players for coming over and providing us with a good test. I'm sure they will be happy with how they grew into the game.
From our point of view, once again we've started superbly scoring 3 early on. Then complacency sets in and we're our own worst enemy. We stop doing the basics, play as individuals and cause problems for ourselves.
The game was in preparation for our cup semi final against Dartford on Saturday and it has certainly helped me make a few tough decisions. We also gave 3 under 15's a chance and they did well this evening.
We've got a good group, they all want to play and it's a tough but nice position to be in. Hopefully we can start Saturday as well as we did tonight but maintain those standards for the duration and reach the final again.
