Paulton Expect Large Numbers Of Hereford Supporters On Saturday

A large number of Hereford supporters are expected to back their team against Paulton Rovers at Winterfield Road on Saturday.

And if the weather isn't favourable there are two covered stands with about 250 seats and covered terracing on three sides of the ground. Capacity is close to 2,000.

Bars will be open early to serve drinks and hot food will be available. The large clubhouse is reported to be quite comfortable.

UNDER 12's admitted FREE when accompanied by a paying adult or concession.

Paulton are encouraging supporters to arrive early particularly those coming by car. It is expected both large car parks will fill up quickly by 2-00 p.m. There is no charge for car parking.

Once car parks are full there is free public parking behind the Cooperative Supermarket at Hill Court (approx. 400 yards away). Please park courteously on the surrounding roads and housing estates.

There are buses from Bath Bus Station (Bath Spa Rail station is almost next door), 172 via Radstock and Midsomer Norton every half hour, 179 every hour and 178 from Bristol (passing Temple Meads Rail Station) via Keynsham every hour. But for Hereford fans this isn't ideal.

Direction from Herefordshire:

Exit M5 at Junction 15 onto M4 Eastbound (towards London).
Take 1st exit off M4 (Junction 19) onto M32 into Bristol. At end of M32 turn left following signs for A37 towards Wells and Shepton Mallet.
Take A37 out of Bristol and pass through villages of Pensford and Temple Cloud to Farrington Gurney. Turn left at traffic lights just past Coop Store and continue until Tesco superstore on right. Turn left at next roundabout to Paulton, sign posted ‘Paulton Rovers FC’.
Enter village and Football Club is on right after passing the "La Campagna" restaurant.
