Despite taking a knock to the face last Tuesday, former Hereford FC goalkeeper Harvey Rivers is fit to play for Yate tomorrow at Edgar Street.
Rivers has spent several hours over the last two days having teeth
rebuilt etc, but the concussion wasn’t deemed bad enough to rule him
out.
Ironically Xrays showed up signs of a previously broken jaw which he believes was sustained playing for HFC last season but he just
carried on and didn’t seek treatment on that occasion.
He is said to be looking forward to the game and the inevitable 'stick' from the Meadow End.
