It's Salisbury At Edgar Street Tomorrow

BN looks ahead to tomorrow's visit of Salisbury to Edgar Street for a Southern League South and West fixture.

Just eight weeks ago Salisbury put Hereford out of the FA Trophy. The week before Hereford FC lost their first ever FA Cup tie at Tonbridge Angels. However in the league Hereford remain unbeaten and they will be hoping to continue that run tomorrow afternoon.

The game at Salisbury was 'topsy-turvey' with the home side scoring after just three minutes. At half time Hereford were 2-1 ahead but some poor defending saw Salisbury take a 4-2 lead before John Mills converted a penalty. But it was too little too late and most thought Salisbury deserved their victory.

Hereford manager Peter Beadle wasn't pleased. Eight goals conceeded in two Cup matches wasn't in the script. However since that afternoon at Salisbury the Bulls have conceeded just seven goals in nine League games and scored tweny five goals.

So Hereford will be favoured to win tomorrow's game, especially considering Salisbury's away form of only taking six points from a possible twenty four.

Beadle brought in defender Ollie Barnes from Weston Super Mare earlier today. Whether he can play tomorrow isn't certain as his transfer isn't on the Southern League's latest transfer list issued at 5pm this evening.

It's also uncertain whether striker John Mills will be fit enough to start given his recent ham-string injury. Beadle said that he wouldn't want to risk him unless he is 100% fit.

If Mills can't start, then Beadle may stick with the same eleven that started the 5-0 win over AFC Totton last Saturday.

Tickets remain available for the game. They can be purchased from Edgar Street anytime after 10am tomorrow morning up to kick-off at 3pm.
