Mangotsfield manager Dave Mehew feels Hereford can be beaten tomorrow evening given Salisbury have already done so.
“After Saturday's excellent win away to Bideford, we can go into the
game with no fear and have a real go," Mehew told the Mangotsfield OS.
"Apparently we did "alright" at
their place with four players with ten days of pre-season in them, and
playing the favourites away in our first away game of the season.
"I think it's fair to say that something disastrous is going to have to happen for them not to win the league, but Salisbury in the FA Trophy showed they can be beaten by a team within the league, and I believe someone will do it this season at some point, so why not us?
"Under the Cossham Street lights and a healthy away following it should make for a great atmosphere and I hope our players relish the occasion.”
