Former Oxford City owner Thomas Guerriero has been sentenced to a 12 year jail term after being found guilty of a $6.6million investment fraud. The 39 year old is reported to have defrauded more than 150 people in the scam which saw his company touted as being profitable to the tune of $700million over 5 years including a non-existent University and a string of sporting sides that were far less than they were claimed to be.

Former Bull Bradley Hudson-Odoi has joined Sutton United following their promotion to the National League. Now 27, the former Fulham trainee was with Wealdstone last season, where he was named Player of the Year and scored 15 times. Chris Weale is one of ten to be released by Yeovil. The 34 year old stopper ends his third spell at Huish Park with over 200 appearances under his belt for the club.

Corby Town have had winding up proceedings brought against them by HMRC dismissed in Court on Monday morning. The Steelmen were relegated  from National North to the Northern Premier League after a dismal season. Richard Brodie has rejoined newly relegated York City after leaving Stockport earlier in the month. Brodie, 28, scored 37 times in the 2009/10 season for the Minstermen as they reached the Conference play-offs.

Salisbury have landed the signing of veteran striker Justin Bennett for the forthcoming season. The 33 year old has just left cash strapped Gosport Borough of National South, where he scored 23 goals in the past season.
