Hereford To Take Stewards To Alvechurch

Hereford FC are to take some of their usual stewards to Alvechurch on Thursday evening.

It's understood that the club were considering the issue before yesterday's 'events' at Dunkirk, but the pitch invasion and after game handbags will have made the decision for them.

The pitch invasion happened after Mike Symons scored the winning goal deep into stoppage time.

However after the game there was some pushing and shoving.

Whatever the reasons were for this, there was next to no stewarding to help quell any 'handbags'.

With an FA officer at the game, it's thought Hereford will have to file a report on the events which could lead to a fine for the club.
