Later today Hereford FC are off to Alvechurch for the clash of the top two in the Midland Premier League.
According to Alvechurch the game is ON, there are no plans for a pitch inspection. However they have conceeded that the pitch isn't ideal.
"Bit bumpy in places, bit of a slope but a fair bit of grass on it for this time of year. Has been a lot worse!," said an Alvechurch tweet.
Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle has admitted the title might not be won by either club whatever the result this evening as Sporting Khalsa are still in the mix.
"We travel to Alvechurch in what is a big game for both sides," said Beadle.
"I don't believe the title will be won or lost by either team on Thursday but you can guarantee we will be going there with every intention of returning to Hereford with all three points."
The teams have met twice before this season, once in the league and also in the Midland Cup. The league game at Edgar Street was drawn 1-1 but Hereford won the cup game 3-1.
