Club Investigate Pitch Invasion At Dunkirk

Hereford FC club officials are continuing to investigate the pitch invasion – by a small number of supporters – that followed the winning goal by Mike Symons at Dunkirk on Saturday.

Although the invasion was good natured and celebratory, Hereford FC has been asked for feedback on the behaviour of fans and a report is being compiled.

This will include information regarding the identity of any fans known to have encroached onto the pitch, and a plan as to how they will be dealt with.

At the present time, Hereford FC will be making no further comment on this matter, but the club would like to remind supporters that unauthorised entry onto the field of play at any time during any Hereford FC fixture could lead to sanctions against the club.

Everyone at Hereford FC continues to be hugely grateful for the fantastic, committed and passionate support the club has received this season.

However, all fans are asked to take responsibility for their own actions and ensure they do not act in a way that could harm the reputation that the vast majority of Hereford FC fans are helping to build.
