Northwich Victoria have been dealt a double blow in their campaign to win promotion. The Step 4 side have been deducted 9 points for playing an ineligible player in four games at the start of the season, leaving them 19 points short of the league leaders, while they have today been told they will not be allowed to share at Witton Albion's ground with their hosts refusing so far to divulge the reasons for the split. The departure means the Vics have until the end of the month to secure a new deal for next term of face exclusion from the promotion process.
Gosport Borough have reported they have settled their debt with HMRC in full. The National South club remain under a transfer embargo until the payment is confirmed by the league, but they have been allowed to sign a goalkeeper to replace sold stopper Nathan Ashmore.
Long Eaton have announced that current manager Shaun Rickford will remain in charge for the remainder of the season, but he will be replaced by experienced duo Gary Sucharewycz and Ian Robinson in the summer as they aim to win promotion next season. The pair left Step 4 side Loughborough Dynamo on Sunday.
