Plenty To Look Forward To Says Beadle

There are plenty of games to look foward to this month starting with the FA Vase game against Leicester Nirvana next Saturday.

"It's the month of January with some fantastic games in it," said Beadle after yesterday's game at AFC Wulfrunians.

"We started with one today which was a fantastic game I'm sure for the neutral, not so good for both managers and benches with the way it was flowing end to end, certainly first half.

"Nirvana have had a great run in their league but their game was called off today. We had someone going today again.

"That's the beauty of the Cup competitions, we are going to play someone from a different league which will make a nice change and we know they will be another good side.

"They are going to come to Edgar Street on Saturday hopefully in front of a big crowd. And hopefully we can make it a bit more comfortable than we did today.

"We'll be ready and we've got a week to prepare now so we'll give it the best chance we can to prepare everybody."

Finally Beadle was reminded by Terry Goodwin for BBC Hereford and Worcester of the great support the team has had over Christmas.

"I've said it week in week out I've run out of superlatives to go on about the fans!

"What was great about the fans today was that they knew we weren't quite at it today and they got behind the lads especially second half.

"The lads owe them a big thank you because we've had huge attendances over the Christmas period. Although we weren't great today they got behind us, I think they recognised that we were a bit flat and they needed a bit of a lift and the supporters gave them that.

"You could hear them right through the second half and I'm delighted we've given them something to sing about.

"You can't keep thanking them enough. They've been brilliant all over Christmas.

"Nine points is perfect for us and hopefully they'll go back saying the same thing."
