James McQuilkin netted for Kidderminster as they won 2-0 at home to Aldershot yesterday.
The win was only their second of the season to move them to within six points of safety at the wrong end of the National League table. Elsewhere in the division, Josh O'Keefe scored his first goal for Altrincham as they won at Bromley. Chris Todd stretched his managerial record to eight wins and a draw from ten games as Eastleigh won 4-1 at Guiseley, and Harry Pell scored as Cheltenham won at Southport.
In the Football League there was a belated League debut for James Bittner. Now 33, the former Bulls stopper combines his role as goalkeeper coach at Plymouth with being the no.2 keeper. He made his Football League debut yesterday after a wait of nearly 5,000 days since his first bench appearance, helping Plymouth beat York 2-1.
Bittner recorded a total of 86 splinter-inducing matches across 13 years watching from the dugout before finally getting his chance.
