League First Said Beadle

Hereford FC manager Peter Beadle would love to take his squad to a FA Vase final at Wembley but he knows that trying to win promotion from the Midland Premier is the priority this season.

"Obviously the most important thing this year is that we try and get out of this league," Beadle told BN.

"And then it is closely followed by the Vase.

"There is a nice ring to being a winner, you want to be a winner.

"To go to the National Stadium would be a winner.

"The whole day and the whole thing that goes with it is something you will never forget and every player wants to play there and every manager and coach wants to be there.

"So it is important for us.

"It could be a fantastic end to what could be a very good season for our supporters, the football club and the players we've got here.

"Every game is important, we want to win every game we play in.

"This competition, we would like to go as far as we can in, but at the end of the day we know the main priority is the league."

The fans would love the day out?

"Who wouldn't, who wouldn't love a day out to go and watch their team play in the sunshine at Wembley Stadium. It's every club's dream from the level were are at up to the Premier League.

"Every player, every coach and every supporter would love a day out at Wembley. It's a fantastic place to be.

"I was very fortunate in my career to play there. Loved the experience but hated the day because we lost the game but it is something that will stick with me for ever.

"That environment and that surroundings is something that I think would inspire our players. Hopefully it could be a fantastic end to a season that the supporters would never forget.

"I'm sure if we did ever get there we would take huge numbers with us and they would get right behind the players and make it a real special day for everybody."
