This from Hereford FC:
In less than two weeks, on Wednesday 7 October, Hereford FC boss, Pete Beadle, will be hosting his ‘Manager’s Golf Day’ at Burghill Valley Golf Club.
The event is open to teams of three golfers – to ensure rounds can be completed in good time – and the cost per team is £120.
This includes a bacon roll and tea and coffee on arrival, and a hot meal in the clubhouse once golfers complete their round.
In addition to the main competition, various other contests will also be taking place around the course – including prizes for the closest to the pin and the longest drive – while there will also be a raffle in the clubhouse as part of the presentation ceremony once all the players have arrived back in the clubhouse.
Thanks to the generosity of Bulls fan and golf professional Richard Hemming, some outstanding prizes are on offer on the day, including brand new drivers, wedges, trollies, waterproofs and caps.
The first tee off time in the competition is due to be between 11am and 11.30am and anyone interested in entering a team in the Manager’s Golf Day is asked to e-mail commercial@herefordfc.co.uk.
In addition, anyone interested in donating a prize for the raffle, or sponsoring one of the holes to help Pete raise money for the club from his golf day is also asked to e-mail the same address, or call the club on 01432 268 257.
