This from Hereford FC:
Following delays at the ticket office prior to our recent home game against Coleshill, that led to a delayed kick off, we have undertaken a comprehensive review of our matchday ticket selling procedures at Edgar Street, as previously promised by Chairman Jon Hale.
The following changes will come into effect for this Saturday’s home game against Boldmere St Michaels, for which we are expecting a large crowd.
Firstly, a reminder that tickets for all areas of the ground, for each and every home game, will be available to purchase online 24/7 and from the club on Tuesdays and Fridays between 10am-4pm.
This is a great way of securing your ticket and beating the matchday queues. It also allows us to better predict the interest in each game, allowing us to plan stewarding levels and programme quantities.
Online ticket orders will be available to collect on the day of the game from the Addison’s Bar Reception desk from 10am onwards, allowing for speedy collection of your matchday tickets without the need to join the general tickets queue.
Tickets for all areas of the ground will be on sale on the day of the game from the following areas;
Addison’s Bar Reception: 10:30am-12:30pm
Ticket Office Window 1&2 (next to old toilet block) – 12-Noon-2:55pm
Ticket Office Window 3&4 (next to players entrance) – 12-Noon-2:55pm
Ticket Office Window 1&2 (next to old toilet block) – 12-Noon-2:55pm
Ticket Office Window 3&4 (next to players entrance) – 12-Noon-2:55pm
It is a huge help to our ticket selling team if you can purchase tickets as soon as you arrive at the ground. To avoid the queues we recommend visiting the ticket office at least 45minutes prior to kick off.
Our bars now have BT Sport installed and will be showing the lunchtime kick off between Everton and Chelsea from 12:45pm. It offers a great opportunity to come to the ground early, pick up your ticket and then watch the game in the comfort of Addison’s Bar.
CASH TURNSTILES
In addition to opening more ticket windows, and for a longer period, we will also open two cash turnstiles on the Meadow End, these will be turnstiles 20 & 21.
In the main we still feel that operating the majority of turnstiles at Edgar Street as cashless holds many benefits for both fans, volunteers, and on an operational level for the club. However we do appreciate that there is a need for us to make the purchasing of tickets a much more convenient process for you all.
THANK YOU
We would like to thank our hard working volunteers both at the ticket booths, and on the turnstiles for their outstanding efforts so far this season, and would also like to thank you, the fans, for your patience and understanding.
In particular we’d like to thank those fans who took the time to get in touch with us with their comments and suggestions regarding ticket sales, and we hope that these new arrangements will go someway to making your matchday a more enjoyable experience.
Thank you once again for your fantastic support, and we look forward to seeing you all at Edgar Street on Saturday when we entertain Boldmere St Michaels.
Remember, you can purchase your tickets online 24/7, and also in person from the club on Tuesday and Friday, 10am-4pm.
