Whilst Harvey Rivers is currently the only regular goalkeeper in the Hereford FC squad, manager Peter Beadle feels that some competition for Rivers could be beneficial.
Dan Lloyd-Weston is in theory the clubs back-up keeper but that arrangement isn't ideal.
"The agreement I have with Worcester, who pay his wages, is that whenever Worcester have a game they'll always take two keepers because they got caught out a few times last year," Beadle told BN.
"We can have Dan when they haven't got a game but obviously every Saturday they are going to have a game. So it doesn't really work out that way for us.
"We would like to think if he's not got a few games he would be available for us but he's not.
"Harvey's our number one at the moment and he's kept a clean sheet tonight and he wasn't busy. He wasn't very busy Saturday.
"What he has done, he's done okay but we are still looking to improve in all areas and that is one we would like to do something with because we want pressure for all positions not because Harvey hasn't done enough but because when you've got someone behind pushing you, it pushes you on again.
"So we would like to do something in that area but at the moment there isn't anyone available that we think is suitable and we are where we are with our budget. So we have got to be extremely careful how we work it."
