News Round-Up


Sporting Khalsa have lost the services of winger Chris Rabone after he moved to Step 4 side Tividale. Rabone scored 5 times in 33 games for Khalsa last term. Alvechurch have signed striker Nicky Turton from Chasetown. Having signed in January for the Step 4 side he scored seven times in 18 games.

Former Bulls youngster Louis Feeley has signed for Barry Town, now of the Welsh League Division One. Feeley played for Chepstow last term. Bath City report they have raised £100,000 of pledges for shares in six weeks as they seek to find a minimum of £750,000 to rescue the club. The 'Big Bid' has six weeks left to reach its target.

Kidderminster chairman Rod Brown says the club have sold around 700 season tickets after a summer of change at Aggborough. The Harriers face a challenging season after slashing their wage bill. Newport owner Les Scadding has gifted his shares to the club's Supporters Trust. The existing club board will remain in place during a transition period before stepping down and leaving the Trust in charge.
