Dunkirk have signed up three of their successful under 16 side to first team forms. u16 captain Ollie Clarke and forward Adie Lang are two of the three. They have also signed 34 year old Danny Dixon, who is the captain of the RAF football team and was one of the servicemen on duty at the 2014 FA Cup final. Yesterday, they drew 1-1 with Derby's u18 side.
In other friendlies yesterday Alvechurch won 3-0 at fellow Step 5 side Oadby Town. Bardon Hill beat Step 4 Gresley 2-1, and Sporting Khalsa drew 1-1 at home to Step 3 Halesowen. Highgate United beat Step 6 side Black Country Rangers 2-0, and Shepshed won 3-1 at Step 6 Radford. Coleshill won 2-1 at Step 6 RC Warwick.
Brimscombe & Thrupp, Hereford FC's opponents a week on Tuesday, beat Forest Green 1-0 in their friendly yesterday. Westfields beat Malvern Town 2-0 on Friday night with Craig Jones scoring the opener.
