3400 'Home' Tickets Sold For FCUM Friendly

Hereford FC have now sold over 3400 tickets to their own supporters in advance of Saturday's first home friendly which is against FC United of Manchester.

FCUM has been allocated just over 600 tickets for the game and if they sell out and Hereford FC continue to sell tickets at the rate seen over the past few days, then it now looks quite possible that the gate could be between 4200 and 4500.

FCUM have given Hereford FC a lot of help in setting up the new club at Edgar Street says media officer Jamie Griffiths.

"They've been a big help," Griffiths told BBC Sport.

"It's certainly fitting that we should play them in out first home game.

"One of our directors went up to see them and they've given us a lot of advice and support."

Griffiths is hopeful of a virtually full house on Saturday.

"They're bringing 600 fans, and we've now sold 3,400 tickets. We expect to reach our capacity, which is now just below 5,000."
