Every month individual Waitrose stores choose three local good causes to support and for June the new Waitrose in Hereford has selected UITC (United In The Community) to be one of them.
Customers are usually given a green coin after paying for their purchases and can then put the coin in one of three boxes.
At the end of the month the green coins are counted up and a donation is made to each of the good causes.
The new Waitrose store in Hereford is situated on the former livestock market site close to Edgar Street, the home of Hereford FC.
