Hereford FC is delighted to announce a deal has been agreed with ‘Furniture Importers’ to sponsor the back of the home and away playing and replica shirts for the 2015/16 season.
The company – which specialises in the import and retail of oak and pine cabinet furniture – has a large premises on Blackfriars Street, less than 50 yards from the Edgar Street ground.
The one year deal Furniture Importers has agreed with Hereford FC will see the website address, ‘furnitureimporters.co.uk,’ proudly displayed across the back of the shoulders of all playing and replica shirts.
Speaking about this deal, Hereford FC’s Commercial Manager, Chris Ammonds, said:
‘We are delighted to have agreed this deal with Furniture Importers and are very grateful for the support the company is showing us.
‘As Furniture Importers is one of the businesses closest to the stadium, this deal feels like a really good fit and we’re told that our new club crest will soon be proudly displayed in the windows of the store. We very much look forward to seeing this artwork!
‘Securing this deal means we are one step closer to being able to release our home playing shirt, but clearly that will only be done once our main sponsor is finalised.
‘Because we know how keen fans are to get their hands on replica shirts, we are pushing very hard to complete this deal. I’m pleased to report we are extremely hopeful we will make an announcement by the middle of next week.’
Commenting on the sponsorship deal he has agreed with Hereford FC, Colt Simmonds, owner of Furniture Importers, said:
‘We are delighted to see Edgar Streetcoming back to life and as a business we were keen to show our support for our near neighbours.
‘The fact the club has already sold over 800 season tickets is incredible and agreeing a deal to sponsor the back of the playing and replica shirts is something I see as a huge positive for our business. We will be offering some exclusive, special offers for supporters in the coming months.
